Flipped Classroom

“Flipped classroom” has been attracting attention as one form of blended learning in recent years. In a flipped class, students learn the target content before coming to the class through video materials, and in class, they apply the learned knowledge by participating in a lot of class activities.

Students learn the grammar through the videos before class and much of the in-class time can be used for class activities. You can reduce the use of English for the explanation of complicated concepts without risking the students not understanding.

Grammar Video for Genki comes with quizzes that allow students to check their understanding of the grammar point explained in the video. Including the quiz results as a part of the course grade will motivate students to self-study before class.

Questions types include multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blanks.
